Everything the business knows, as facts a model can use.

Offerings, places, people, proof, policies, the questions customers ask — turned into structured, validated facts, then compared with what your website actually says.

What Model does

Model builds the model of your business. It inventories what the business knows, structures each item as an entity — a product, a location, a person, a policy, a proof point — with a definition, a source and its relationships to the rest, and then maps that model against your site page by page.

The output is the knowledge gap: what you know that your site doesn't say, says badly, or says in two places that disagree.

What the business knows

  1. Every product, service and plan, with what it's for.
  2. Every location and the markets it serves.
  3. The people, their credentials, and what they're authorities on.
  4. Pricing, policies, logistics, insurance, what to expect.
  5. Proof: reviews, awards, case studies, certifications.
  6. The questions customers ask before they buy.

Most sites publish a fraction of this, and much of that is stale or contradicts itself. Model is how the fraction becomes the whole.

The five kinds of gap

Gap What it looks like What AI does with it
Missing A services page that lists half the offerings; one address in the footer Leaves you out of answers you should be in
Thin A page that names the service and nothing else Cites someone who explains it
Contradictory Two pages, two prices; two bios, two titles Trusts neither
Stale A team page from two hires ago; a 2023 PDF Describes a business that no longer exists
Unsupported "Award-winning" with no award named Discounts the claim

Uncertainty is what a model resolves by leaving you out. Every gap is a place that happens.

How coverage is scored

Model scores the record on three axes: entities (is each thing the business knows defined once?), evidence (is each material claim sourced?) and relationships (is each entity connected to the pages and entities it belongs with?). Illustrative: entities 82% · evidence 64% · relationships 71%. The scores move as gaps close, and they feed the on-site half of your GEO Score.

Where the facts come from

From you, and from what you already publish. Model extracts what your site says, compares it with what you tell us the business knows, and asks when something is missing. It never infers facts about your business from the internet, and it never publishes a fact you haven't confirmed.

Knowledge gap analysis is included from Pro, which also produces the page-by-page plan (Step 3). On the managed program, our team builds and maintains the model for you. The system behind it is Beacon.
