Best GEO platforms in 2026: Visigent vs Profound, Evertune, Semrush, Scrunch and Conductor
Six platforms promise to get your brand cited by AI. They look nearly identical at the dashboard. The difference is what happens after the dashboard — and that's where most of them stop.
About this guide. Visigent wrote it and is in it. Every competitor fact below comes from a public vendor page or a named third-party source, dated in the source table; the evaluation criteria are the same for all six, including us. Where our position is an opinion, it's labelled as ours. Verify current pricing with each vendor before you buy.
How we compared them
We evaluated the six platforms most often shortlisted by mid-market and enterprise buyers in 2026 across twelve dimensions in three groups: engine coverage, monitoring and reporting, and — the rows that decide the category — on-site implementation, content production and off-site earned media, plus service and procurement.
We don't compare pricing: vendor price lists change faster than a guide can, and ours has changed since the first version of this piece. Each vendor's current pricing is one click away on its own site.
The question behind every row is the one buyers now ask out loud: I can see I'm not showing up in AI answers. Now what? Every platform here answers the first half. The rows that matter are the ones that answer the second.
The category splits in two
The pitch decks are nearly indistinguishable: show buyers where their brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude; track citations across model releases; surface what competitors do differently. That sameness is the story.
Independent reviewers have started saying it plainly — Mersel's 2026 analysis described one of the largest incumbents as a tool that "functions exclusively as a monitoring and analytics platform" — and Evertune's own homepage frames its differentiator as a critique: "Every other tool shows you the data. Evertune shows you what to do with it."
The fault line is monitoring versus execution. Most GEO platforms are dashboards. A much smaller group does the work that changes the answer.
Why it matters more in GEO than it did in SEO is empirical. In Visigent's published methodology, drawing on Digital Bloom's analysis of 129,000+ domains and our own corpus, 41% of AI brand-recommendation weight comes from authoritative list mentions — third-party "best of" lists, roundups, directories — not from on-site content. Awards and accreditations add 18%; online reviews 16%. Roughly 60% of the weight lives off-site: earned, editorial work a monitoring tool cannot do for you. The Princeton GEO study (Aggarwal et al., KDD 2024) found the same asymmetry from the other side: lower-ranked sites applying GEO methods gained up to 115% visibility while top-ranked sites lost about 30%. The opportunity belongs to brands that can do the work.

The six, one by one
Profound — the analytics-first incumbent
Best for: Fortune 500 brands with in-house engineering bandwidth.
Profound has the deepest measurement infrastructure in the category. Its Agent Analytics module reads server logs to track GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot crawl patterns at a granularity no other tool attempts; it covers ten-plus engines at the top tier and holds SOC 2 Type II. For a brand that needs defensible data for stakeholder reporting, this is the tool. The limit is a scope choice, not a flaw: monitoring only. It does not execute content, build citations or deploy changes. Full engine coverage is gated to the Enterprise tier.
Right choice when your constraint is information, not capacity.
Head-to-head: Visigent vs Profound →
Evertune — visibility plus paid-media activation
Best for: brands running integrated paid + earned strategies.
The only platform here that ties AI-visibility data to programmatic ad activation through The Trade Desk, with EverPanel, a 25-million-user behavioural data layer, and an agency-friendly model (unlimited logins, no per-seat charges). Its tagline is the most candid in the category — and its caveat sits inside it: showing you what to do still leaves the doing to you. Paid activation needs its own budget.
Right choice when paid amplification of AI visibility is the strategy.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit — an SEO suite extends its surface
Best for: teams already living in Semrush.
The most familiar interface in the category; add it to an existing contract rather than procure a vendor. The surface is assembled from parts: entry covers ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Gemini; the broader surface needs the Semrush One bundle; content drafting is a separate toolkit. AI visibility is one of ten-plus toolkits, not the strategic centre, and the roadmap reflects that.
Right choice when Semrush is already in the stack.
Scrunch AI — the mid-market agent-experience play
Best for: mid-market teams shipping content internally.
Five hundred-plus customers (Lenovo, BairesDev, Clerk, Skims), the broadest engine coverage in its tier (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode/Overviews, Meta), persona-based prompt monitoring, and the Agent Experience Platform, which auto-generates an AI-friendly version of your site. Clerk reported nine-times higher AI-attributed sign-ups after deploying its recommendations. Audit limits are tight (5 on Starter, 10 on Growth), and AXP optimises the site that exists — it does not produce new authoritative content or earn off-site mentions.
Right choice when you have content capacity and want monitoring plus on-site automation.
Conductor — the enterprise SEO incumbent extends to AEO
Best for: global enterprises with ten-plus domains and a CSM relationship.
The longest enterprise roster and the deepest scale — 125,000+ pages and 60,000+ keywords monitored at the top tier — with Writing Assistant Drafts (60–600 a year by tier), Content Score and AgentStack. White-glove onboarding often spans a quarter; procurement runs 30–90 days. Execution is drafts only; final on-site and all off-site work stays with the customer.
Right choice for global enterprises with the patience for enterprise procurement; over-engineered for most mid-market teams.
Visigent — the execution layer (our own entry)
Best for: brands whose bottleneck is capacity, not information. Self-serve plans and a managed program; current pricing on our pricing page.
This is us, so read it as our position. The self-serve platform does what the others do — tracks how AI describes you, scores your GEO Score across four signals, and produces the page-by-page plan: keep, update, consolidate, build. The departure is the managed program: our team models the business, builds and maintains the published record, earns the off-site citations and reports what moved, weekly, across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Grok. Of the six platforms compared, it is the only option that returns a "yes" on all three of the rows that decide the category — on-site implementation, content production and off-site earned media — because a team does them, not a dashboard. The candid trade-off: Visigent is the youngest brand here. Enterprise procurement teams used to evaluating dashboards may need to be walked through a managed-execution model.
Right choice when the dashboard would only confirm what you already suspect, and nobody has time to act on it.
Which one, then?
No tool here is right for every buyer. Ranking is the wrong frame; fit is the right one.
- Constraint is information, at Fortune 500 scale, with a team to act → Profound.
- Monitoring tied to programmatic ad activation, with a paid-media budget → Evertune.
- Semrush already in the stack; add AI visibility incrementally → Semrush.
- Mid-market team shipping content internally; want on-site automation → Scrunch.
- Global enterprise, ten-plus domains, patience for enterprise procurement → Conductor.
- Bottleneck is execution; you know what needs doing and no one has time → Visigent's managed program. Want the plan and do it yourself → Visigent self-serve.
